When I get bored I use the internet to learn new things, and LOLgislature.com is where I compile oddball pieces of the People’s Business. Every legislator sets out for the capitol with a briefcase full of bills to push. Most of them fall through the cracks.
The site began as a storage space for political satire samples. The main focus was the Florida State Legislature since that’s where I grew up, went to university, and worked until I was 27. I’ve since moved to Philadelphia and haven’t updated the site. I’d like to get back to it and branch out to all fifty states. If anyone would like me to keep it going as a regular column somewhere I could find the extra time to research. I’d even tone down the off-color bits if you find it absolutely necessary.
